It is very important to us to ensure protection of your personal data as regards the collection, processing and use of such data when you visit our homepage.
Personal data is information that identifies you. This includes information, such as your name, address, telephone number or email address, but also data such as your place of residence, IP address or bank details. You do not need to disclose personal data in order to use our website. In certain cases we may, however, require your name, address and other details in order to supply the desired goods or perform the desired services.
Processing of your IP address by the web server
Services on the Internet can only be used from a technical perspective if your IP address is disclosed. This is processed by the web servers delivering the websites in question. Your IP address is stored together with other, non-identifiable information in technical protocol files, known as log files. We shall only use these files in order to be able to analyse the reason and impact in situations where a fault arises. The log files are deleted on a weekly basis. Intended purpose of personal data
We shall use your personal data to respond to queries, process your orders, deliver goods to you or grant you access to specific information or offers.
We shall only collect, process and use your personal data disclosed online for the purposes as notified to you. Your personal data shall not be disclosed to third parties without your prior consent as required.
When you visit our website, information may be stored on your computer in the form of a cookie. Cookies are small text files sent from a web server to your browser and stored on your computer’s hard drive. No personal data regarding the user is stored, only an extra pseudonym that has been generated for you. This information is used, for example, to automatically recognise you upon your next visit to our website and facilitate navigation for you.
Children and young persons under 18
Persons under the age of 18 should not transmit any personal data to us without the consent of their parents or legal guardians. We do not request personal data from children and young persons, nor do we collect such data and disclose it to third parties.
We have taken a number of technical and organisational security measures to protect your personal data from being lost, destroyed, manipulated or accessed in an unauthorised manner. All employees and third parties involved in data processing undertake to observe the Federal Data Protection Act and handle personal data in a confidential manner.
Transmission of personal data abroad
With the exception of the aforementioned transmission to CloudFlare and Google as part of using Google Analytics, we do not transfer any personal data abroad. All of the servers that we operate and use are located in Germany.
